Fatigue...
Are the days of a new mother always accompanied by fatigue? As I struggle to stay awake in the midst of completing my homework for my graduate degree, I ponder this question. When will the days of sleepless nights and early mornings disappear? Five, ten or twenty years? Perhaps, never? Oh, the endless sacrifices never end...

This Baby Should Be on a Cover!

This baby should be a cover model and you can help too! Check out the link below to recommend my baby for the Parents magazine cover model search this year. Go on to the website and look at other babies if you must, but you will see the cutest baby on their is in the picture above. Biased you may think?!? Yes I am, but how else is a proud mommy to act? The proof is in the pudding! Check out this link and picture!
Seriously?!? For a Baby?!?
The fashion world has taken a new turn in the form of board shorts! What might you be asking am I referring too? Quicksilver has released board shorts for infants! As if the fashion world isn't competitive enough yet! On a recent shopping trip for my husband, I found Quicksilver board shorts for infants. How could I resist?!? Instead of the traditional Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck swim shorts, my 8 month old son will be sporting trendy, stylish and cute Quicksilver board shorts made for infants. Yes, call me vain if you must, but one look at these cute and stylish shorts and you too will understand! At the tune of nearly $20 - $30 per pair, your baby can sport one of these stylish treats on the beach this summer too!

My little pride and joy...
Everyday brings a new adventure or finding in the life of my infant. It is amazing to see how he looks at the world. A fresh eye taking everything around him in for the first time. His zealous approach to life in his little infant mind is miraculous. Now that he is crawling he treats each minute as if he is on a deadline to figure the world out. Getting him to sit down is the biggest chore of my life right now. I want to tell him so bad, "don't worry son, you have your whole life to figure it out!" What would the world be like if treated life as he does??? Hmm.. I wonder...
My Time
How sweet are those two little words. In my chaotic life as a new mother, I long for 'my time'. This notion is near impossible in my endless day of raising my 7 month old son, taking care of my husband, housework, school and work. I long for the days of the past where I would curl up on the couch and veg out all day watching TV. Oh how those days are gone! Watching TV is now a luxury made possible from my TiVo. 'My time' is a phrase that I will learn the meaning of in eighteen years! Oh the joys of motherhood! :)
